To help save some costs, greetings card specialist thortful (thortful.com) has shared five budget-friendly, yet fun and creative ways, to ask your besties to be your bridesmaids. From having a spa day at home to custom fortune cookies, these bridesmaid proposal ideas are sure to get the reaction you want without breaking the bank.
1. Hold a sleepover party
Sleepover parties don't have to be just for kids, and what better way to celebrate the special moment than by gathering with your besties to watch your favourite films, eat snacks, and have drinks! You could even take it even further by surprising them with some cute matching bridesmaid pyjamas for them to wear, to save some cash you could buy some cheaper PJ sets and decorate them yourself!
2. Have a spa day from home
With all the stress that comes with sorting out a whole wedding, take some time to unwind alongside your future bridesmaids with a relaxing spa day. There's no better time to ask them than over a glass of prosecco with a selection of face masks to pamper yourselves with.
3. Bake a cake
Everyone loves a delicious homemade cake, so why not bake your favourite ladies a cake or muffins and then pop the all-important question on top in icing.
4. Ask it with a picture
Simply print a picture of your most cherished memory of you and your bridesmaid to be and pop it in a beautiful frame. This also gives your bestie something lovely to keep.
5. Custom fortune cookies
Customised fortune cookies can be ordered from Etsy for as little as £1.50. Simply invite the girlies round for a Chinese take away (or fake away) and give them their customised fortune cookies to pop the question!
