Georgina and Sam were childhood sweethearts having met at school. "We both took business class together and everything just fell into place, "Georgina says.
When the time was right, Sam proposed while the two were on holiday in Mexico. It was a total surprise for Georgina, and they spent a wonderful evening together, just the two of them, celebrating.
The pair fell in love with The Old Kent Barn and its rustic yet modern feel. Georgina explains, "We knew it would be perfect for our winter wedding with a Disney twist, with the white, snowy trees and high ceilings there. We also loved the fact that everything was in one location and it even had benches rather than chairs."

I wore Allure Bridal Disney Fairytale Wedding, Cinderella with Aurora cape. I accessorised with a crown and sparkly heels. I always knew I wanted a princess dress, and when I discovered the Disney Fairytale collection had finally come to the UK, I just knew I had to have one!
Sam wanted a Peaky Blinders look for the suits and managed to get them all from Slaters. We got him a different tie and buttonhole so that he could stand out from the groomsmen.
Two of my bridesmaids wore gold glitter slim fit dresses, while the other wore a green flowy gown. We wanted a Christmassy look, but not the traditional red.
Time seemed to stop when my dad saw me in my dress for the first time, when I walked down the aisle and saw Sam, and then turning around as we were announced as husband and wife. These moments seemed to pass in slow motion.
We had a 'happily ever after' light-up sign at the altar and throne chairs at the top table
Our centrepieces were tall, snowy, trees, with roses as our main flower choice.
We gave our guests little bottles of Baileys as wedding favours – the perfect winter tipple.
Our florist Katie was amazing. I showed her photos with some flowers that were out of season, but she soon found the perfect replacements. The flowers were truly beautiful.
We made use of The Old Kent Barn’s white London cab as transport.
The table plan featured Christmas films on green card to complement the overall palette, with gold touches as a nod to the season. The place and table names too were festive movie themed.
We enjoyed a three-course meal for our wedding breakfast, with fish and chips for the evening.
Our cake took the form of castle with Disney and Harry Potter touches, there was even a wreath around the door.
Karen, our cake designer, couldn't have got it any better if she tried!
I went in with an over-the-top idea and she pulled it off!
"We took a mini-moon to Edinburgh straight after the wedding, which was magical with the Christmas markets and Harry Potter experience.
We're off to Costa Rica soon for our main honeymoon and I can't wait to explore the jungles."
We had a DJ and a magic mirror, keeping to our Disney theme. It was a hit with our guests as it was something they hadn't seen before, being more used to a standard photo booth.
Guests loved the hot chocolate and sweet table!
We felt nervous on the day, but so excited to see everyone coming together. It was like all the hard work and worries of Covid didn't matter any more, as we finally got to have our big day with the people we love.
Our photographers Olegs and Rita, and videographer Simon went above and beyond to get the best shots and make the day so memorable. We didn't even know they were there most of the time.
