Tim was playing at a festival in Nottingham when he first met Jade, who went to support her friend Leah's fiancé Sam.
The nearlyweds got to work on the clever seating arrangements for their wedding in July 2019 after Tim mentioned he liked Jade and they sat the pair together. The couple completely hit it off and decided to go on a few dates – the rest is history!
Tim proposed on the beach at sunset in Cornwall in September 2020. Jade says, "We had spoken about our future together, so I knew a proposal was coming! We were having a lovely day when Tim suggested we go for a barbecue on the beach and a swim in the sea. We got in the car to go to our campsite to get our stuff , but there was a car fire blocking our only way home and we didn't have enough time to eat. Tim was adamant we at least have a mojito on the beach, which is where he popped the question!"
Here Jade shares details about their special day...
We wanted a fun day with all our friends and family without anything being too formal. When I stumbled across Warren Farmhouse, I knew it would be the perfect venue for our relaxed day!
Our aim for the day was to create as little waste as possible, so we did some DIY bits and used pallets for the signage.
Frond & Bloom created the bridal party's flowers, which featured pink and orange dahlias.
We had paper lanterns throughout the marquee and dream catchers in the trees.
We had a nine-tiered cheese tower instead of a traditional cake, which went down a treat!
We had a laid-back barbecue during the day, pizza in the evening and an ice cream van in the afternoon!
I wore a dress called Nyika by Charlie Brear as I didn't want a typically structured dress. I accessorised with a belt, blue heels, pearl accessories and a flower crown – I felt amazing!
I wanted my bridesmaids to feel comfortable and asked them to pick any dress in sage green.
We asked the groomsmen to wear what they felt comfortable in. They all wore different suits, which worked really well!
Tim wore light-coloured trousers and a blue suit jacket from Hugo Boss. To complete the look, he rocked a floral tie and braces as well as a bright belt.
For our favours, we donated to the Alzheimer's Society and gave everyone a pin badge in memory of my grandma, who passed away in February 2021 with vascular dementia.
We had an open mic session at the wedding as we had many talented guests. Lots of singing and dancing got the party started!
We both felt nervous but excited on the day – it was much more emotional than expected!
A few moments that stood out were walking down the aisle, going for a stroll after the ceremony and seeing all our guests relaxing.
My friend Lisa bought a fancy dress frog head with her, which featured heavily on the dancefloor!
Rebecca at Warren Farmhouse truly made our day, as nothing was too much trouble! Many of our guests commented on the amazing team.
