How can I make the best use of my investment? Nicola says, “Don’t buy more flowers than you need. If you’re having an arrangement on your ceremony/registrar table, this can be moved to your sweetheart or top table after the ‘I dos.’ Installations such as moon gates or deconstructed arches can also be moved around following the ceremony and will look just as wonderful when repurposed at each end of the top table or behind the newlyweds at the reception. You can ask your guests to take flowers with them at the end of the evening to enjoy at home to save wastage. “Ask your florist to provide vases for your bouquets. You can then pop it in front of you at the wedding breakfast or perhaps on your memory, gift or cake table. Bridesmaids’ flowers can also be used as table centrepieces, so you only need to buy blooms for the extra tables.” BLOOMING MARVELLOUS Bouquets, centrepieces, accessories... what haven’t I thought about yet? Liz says, “A willow love heart on the door of the bridal suite is a super-sweet touch, and don’t forget your ‘thank you’ bouquets for the mums and bridesmaids. Wildflower seed packets make for wonderful wedding favours and a floral archway as a ceremony backdrop is a must in my eyes!” Micheile Henderson on Unsplash JSB Co on Unsplash
