Virage (100 dining and 150 evening guests) opened in 2018 and although located in a separate building, is in keeping with the look of the Hotel and its original character, as well as being finished to a high specification with its own individual design. There’s a spacious bar area leading through to the main function room, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and a skylight stretching the width of one end of the room. Plus, Botanicum is an event barn like no other. Large bifolding doors lead out onto a terrace and into the walled garden, while crittal style windows and doors open out onto a private courtyard, which leads to the Victorian stable block; recently converted into luxury accommodation with nine en suite bedrooms and large open-plan living. The venue is available for an exclusive three-day hire of the entire site. Alongside the Stables, you’ll find a beautiful cottage where you and your wedding party can get ready for the big day, and you can later spend your wedding night as newlyweds. The Stables have been finished to the highest standard, offering luxury accommodation for you and your party. They’re also designed to be as green as possible with ground source heating. Ceremonies are held within the restored Walled Garden with lawned area for a marquee of your choice.
