This relaxed, family-run wedding venue offers two stunning barns with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside, as well as deluxe glamping pods and a luxury wedding suite on site. A blank canvas venue it gives you the flexibility to theme your wedding as you wish, spending as little or as much on the things that matter most to you. There are two interlinked barns here: the Rustic Barn with its romantic character, and the Celebration Barn, which is more contemporary in style with enviable views over the Yorkshire Dales. You’ll also find an outdoor seating area, the Byre welcome area and several stunning backdrops for those all-important photographs. This fabulous venue also includes accommodation with 11 glamping pods, all with private hot tubs, en-suite shower room and kitchen; and The Nest, a luxury country cottage also with private hot tub. The team will turn the latter into a romantic honeymoon suite for the two of you during the day, while you’re busy celebrating. Sedgewell Barn is licensed to hold civil ceremonies with two ceremony rooms to choose from depending on guest numbers, as well as the outdoor courtyard and terrace area. The Rustic Barn (100 guests) has maintained many of its original features including traditional oak beams, which have been adorned with fairylights and changeable coloured uplighters. There’s a mezzanine level too, ideal for photographers and videographers to capture those perfect shots at key moments. Later, the space can be turned into a cosy, relaxed seating area for the evening. The Celebration Barn (150 guests) is the much larger of the two spaces for ceremony, dining and evening entertainment, decorated throughout with festoon lights and white drapes. More contemporary in style it has a terraced area accessed by sliding doors and offering breathtaking views of the Yorkshire Dales. At one end of the Barn is a fully-stocked bar serving a personalised drinks package and cocktail menu, as well as a stage for the evening entertainment.
