My bridesmaids all wore the same olive green satin dress from Pretty Lavish. A singer entertained guests during the day. She played as guests arrived, throughout the ceremony and then for the reception drinks. My Essense of Australia gown was from Ava Rose, which stylist Beckie helped me pick it out. It wasn’t the style I thought I’d go for when I started looking, but the first time I tried this on and saw myself in it I fell in love straight away. Jack wore a dark green three-piece suit, with black trousers and champagne-coloured tie, which he received lots of compliments on. His groomsmen, father-of-the-bride and father-of-the-groom were dressed to match. We met with our venue stylist around 10 months before the wedding to go through our colour palette and décor options. My brother did a reading during the ceremony, which was lovely. 36
