The two felt nervous initially but incredibly excited too. The day couldn’t have gone any more smoothly and as soon as they were ready they felt a million dollars knowing they were about to enjoy their big day with their loved ones. The Blonde & The Blooms created a 12ft flower arch, which framed the ceremony room doors beneath which the duo said “I do.” At the entrance to the ceremony room stood two large urns filled with Ecuadorian roses while the theme was continued via the roses either side of the aisle making it a real showstopper. White King Louis chairs added to the regal finish and the ceremony room decoration provided quite the talking point for the couple’s guests. The couple knew they wanted a lot of flowers, but the finishing touches and finer details were even better than they could have imagined thanks to The Blonde & The Blooms. The brief for both grooms’ attire was black and gold red-carpet glamour. Adam wore a gold suit jacket with a black waistcoat, while Jake wore a black jacket with gold waistcoat, each complementing the other’s colour and pattern. During the ceremony various loved ones read reflections and readings, lending it an air of intimacy and emotion. The couple’s friends Rosie and Leanne, as well as Jake’s grandma, Sheila, had written pieces about Jake and Adam and their memories of them. Jake’s friend Maria read a piece called Love Is Love. 37 REAL WEDDINGS
