The floral headdresses beautifully put together by Willow & Bear pay homage to the late Frida Kahlo and her striking look that has inspired generations. Clare Coleman the photographer from the shoot describes her inspiration: “As an ex event manager, specialising in event décor and floral installation, I’m always inspired by flowers, their tones, form and movement. I knew as soon as I saw the bold floral dresses from designer Megan Capaldi-Tallon that the mood of the shoot needed to be a high-summer, high-end look. I worked with make-up artist Sonia Schofield who created bronzed, glowing skin with pops of cherry colours on the lips and cheeks. Vintage prototype earrings from YSL and bold gold pieces from Elisabeth Riveiro sourced by Natalia Willmott completed the look.” 40
