We ordered cupcakes from a local bakery a s this was the best way to distribute cake while remaining CO VID-safe. Our pretty silk flowers tied in beautifully with our blue palette. Dewsbury Town Hall allowed us to hold a small wedding with just our bridesmaid and best man. As we were in the middle of the pandemic, we weren’t able to have a reception. Instead, we headed home to celebrate. I found my dress while shopping with my m um and sister before the pandemic. As we were planning a wedding abroad, I wanted a lighter dress. However, once I tried mine on I knew it was the one – it was only the second style I tried! I had i t altered to fit me perfectly by a talented tailor in Leeds. 34
