Your Yorkshire Wedding - January/February 2021 (Issue 46)
Q&A Local pro Kate Pymm Make-Up answers your question… Beauty We’re having an intimate wedding by candlelight. What make-up will ensure my features stand out in this romantic lighting? For this type of ceremony, you want your skin to give off that warm candlelit glow, so I would focus on really highlighting your skin. Concentrate on the upper cheeks, the central section of your forehead, your brow bones and the cupid’s bow. Skin is definitely the main focus here. Look for a primer that has a radiance to it, a radiance fluid used underneath your preferred foundation or just a beautiful highlighter. I’m a huge fan of radiant skin, so for me I can’t get enough glow! It will look so stunning in this setting too. Aside from giving warmth to your skin, I would opt for the softest smoky eye, a soft contour and full lips. Line your lips first, before applying a strong colour to really make a statement. Red, berry or a pop of pink are all ideal shades to reflect the season, and of course, your outfit!
