We can also work with a bride’s ideas to create a bespoke piece. After many years of experience making jewellery, and a love for all things sparkly, launching my company seven years ago was a dream come true. What’s your favourite product you offer? If I had to choose it’d be one of my hair vines. These continue to be a favourite with my brides as they’s so versatile; I’m always excited to see how it’s styled on the day. They can be used to exchange rings, hold vows or send love notes on the day. They’re made in my studio just outside of York, where I moved after living in Paris for 20 years. While working for a textile dealer, I collected antique and vintage fabrics, which I now use to make the cushions. What’s your favourite product you offer? Our envelope cushion called Feuilles (meaning leaves ). It has a lovely 19 th -century silk gauze with satin threads. I’ve matched the inside of the cushion to the ribbon with a lovely blue silk, tying in with the something blue tradition. Why should couples choose Yorkshire suppliers for their wedding? If you could design a product for a celebrity, who would it be? I’d like to design a cushion for Ellen DeGeneres as I love her home decor style, but I also like how she brings people together and has a great sense of humour. We offer brides the attention to detail they want in their accessories, whether their look is vintage, whimsical, modern or bohemian. My passion for product development in fast-paced fashion helped me launch my sister company, Adorn By BP, specialising in fashion- forward hair accessories and gifts. What’s your favourite product you offer? I love the Alba hair vine with matching Alva earrings. Made from white clay, they’re so simple and delicate. The fluted flowers with sparkly stamens are perfect for any bride who wants a touch of glitz without being over-the-top. Why should couples choose Yorkshire suppliers for their wedding? The Yorkshire wedding industry is a very close network and it’s nice to recommended couples the best it has to offer. If you could design a product for a celebrity, who would it be? I’d say Dua Lipa – her music keeps me going in the studio all day! Her style is unique, so it’d be fun to make something completely different to what I normally make.
