Lil and I sing together in a 1940s duo called The Blitz Sisters. The church choir master, Greg Smith, is a fantastic organist and we asked him to perform as well – it meant a lot having another familiar face involved in our wedding. Every supplier involved was fantastic. From Claudia and Kate pampering us in the morning to the staff at the venue and our drivers. Our photographer, Emily, and videographer, Barney, made everyone so relaxed and it shows in how they captured the day. Emily is a friend of mine from university, so having her shoot our wedding was really special. I was so excited on the day. From the moment I woke up, everything was perfect. I really enjoyed the morning with my mum and bridesmaids. It was so lovely being able to spend time together and getting pampered! Jamie and I both loved every second. Emma’s top tip: Everyone says it, but it goes really quickly – so enjoy it.Take a few moments to look around and absorb it all in.Also, your dress is going to get filthy so just go with it! I was attracted to the vintage feel of my Joanie dress by Ronald Joyce. As soon as I put it on I knew it was the one . I teamed it with a long sparkly veil and my mum’s bracelet, which was my something old and something borrowed . The lady who altered my dress kindly sewed a tiny blue ribbon inside for my something blue. I changed into sparkly Converse in the evening so I could dance all night. My dad is a magician, so we had to have some magic during the reception! We hired my dad’s friend Tim Lichfield and he was a great addition to the day. We also had actor Dominic Goodwin as our MC. I worked with him on my first professional acting job and we became great friends, he did an amazing job keeping everyone entertained all day. Later, the party got going with a fantastic live band called Hip Operation. REAL WEDDINGS
