Stuart wore a different waistcoat to stand out. My maid-of-honour looked elegant in a rose-coloured gown with a train. The party got going with the venue’s resident DJ and we had a magic mirror to keep everyone entertained. Our guests loved all the props, and the fact that they could take the photos away as a memento. The day was perfect, and I loved saying “I do” to Stuart, who is my best friend, partner and soul mate, in front of our two sons. We were so happy to have our nearest and dearest from both the UK and the Philippines with us. My parents had flown in especially and both walked me down the aisle. My father was also very proud of me for giving a speech! 32
