Your Yorkshire Wedding - Jan/Feb 2020 (Issue 40)
Our place settings and table names had a vintage French- chic feel and there was a coordinating table plan designed in rose gold dressed with pink flowers. My dad’s partner and I created the centrepieces. We chose white vintage birdcages decorated with pink and cream flowers. For the top table, we had candleholders instead. Scattered petals and crystals finished the look off. The vibe we wanted to create was fun and relaxed with a rose gold and pink palette. The décor was inspired by our Parisian proposal; we couldn’t believe how well it came together on the day. The church we chose is so pretty and has beautiful gardens. Lazaat stood out to us because we loved the scenery around the venue. The room wasn’t too big but it felt open because of the full-length windows. We also loved the al fresco decking area. Holly’s top tip: Don’t worry about anyone else – the only people who matter on the day are the ones getting married! 36
