Inside, a grand staircase sweeps down to a charming circular room where vows can be made bathed in natural light. Alternatively, the heated terrace provides real wow factor and offers fabulous views of the Valley Gardens. Wedding receptions take place in the main room (200 guests), while couples can make use of the gorgeous grounds with its abundant flora and fauna for photographs. Accessed via the historic Monkgate Bar, there are many attractive locations for photographs nearby including the Minster and College Green. The front of the venue benefits from a tree- lined entrance and Gothic-shaped windows, while the attractive terrace at the back of the venue is a great spot for drinks receptions. Inside, visitors find a characterful space with timber beams, stained-glass windows, York-stone floors and fan-vaulted ceilings. Time to celebrate! Ceremonies can take place in the Main Hall (80 guests) or in the Committee Room (20 guests).
