Your Yorkshire Wedding - November/December 2019 (Issue 39)

Our photographer and videographer were amazing and really helped everything run smoothly. Liz from the venue was lovely, she made up plates of food for us from the evening buffet and had them sent to our room after our loved ones had left as she knew we’d be hungry. We opted for a starlight backdrop behind the top table, while fairylights wrapped around the bannisters and columns gave a wonderful atmosphere. On the dancefloor, we had big light-up letters. I knew I wanted a princess-style dress, and as soon as I walked into the boutique and saw it I knew it was the one . It came in two separate parts so I could choose the style of top I wanted and have it made into a dress. I loved being able to customise my look, I also added straps and a beautiful belt and finished it off with a long sparkly veil.  Jason wore a grey woven suit; it took so long to find the perfect shade! The groomsmen, dads and our two boys, Jake and Cambell, all wore the same. My bridesmaids looked amazing in their gowns, which had sparkly tops and flowing skirts. My daughter, Emme, looked super-cute in her custom dress and sparkly headband. REAL WEDDINGS 41
