Chris can’t put his finger on what first attracted him to Mandy; he just knew he wanted to get to know her. He never dreamed he’d get to spend the rest of his life with her. Chris proposed to Mandy at home on 7 th February, 2018 – their nine-year anniversary – with a Haribo jelly ring! Later that day, they went out and bought a new rock for her finger. “How many girls can say they got two rings in one day?” laughs Mandy. They set the date for the following year, as it would be their tenth anniversary. “It meant Chris didn’t need to remember another date!” Mandy says.
