Your Yorkshire Wedding - Mar/Apr 2019 (Issue 35)

The super-talented Pink Frosting Cake Company made our five-tier cake. It was gorgeous and even had floral blossom detailing to match my dress. The company also made our treat table, which tasted just as good as it looked. I always knew I wanted a tulle gown, and I fell in love with the shape and applique flowers on my Casablanca Bridal dress. It was exactly what I wanted: traditional, but a bit unusual. I teamed it with a matching cathedral-length veil and pretty hair vine. Music is really important to us and we spent a lot of time making sure it was right for all parts of the day. Craig from The Live Piano Experience played a great mix of songs in church and during the marquee reception. Tony Benedict then acted as master of ceremonies and sang during the wedding breakfast. Tony is worth his weight in gold as he appeals to all ages. We stumbled across the brilliant Jukebox Band at a wedding fair. They kept the party going until the early hours and even learned an acoustic version of Queen’s You’re My Best Friend for our first dance. We were both nervous and emotional in the morning, but that soon disappeared when we saw each other. We couldn’t stop smiling at how perfect everything was and could hardly believe it was actually our wedding. REAL WEDDINGS 45 
