Stockton has been newly renovated, transforming what once was a family home into a boutique wedding venue. The 18th-century building is full of history and during the renovation, the team wanted to preserve the original features and architecture the house has to offer and pay homage to the history and heritage this amazing house has. St. Chad’s Church is an 11th-century church just a short walk from Stockton House. With stunning architecture and historic features, St. Chads is perfect for religious ceremonies or blessings. The Walled Garden Dining Room is a purpose-built 100-seater secret dining space. This incredible open-plan room is licensed for civil ceremonies and can host wedding breakfasts and evening parties. The building has four-and-a-half-metre-high walls and, to guests, looks like a secret garden. When couples open the grand, double doors, they will be transported into a large open space with a double curved ceiling, chandeliers, and open windows to the gardens and grounds at the back of the house. Exchange vows outside underneath the tree canopy in The Victorian Turning House. Guests will take their seats on the lawn and watch lovebirds say their vows, surrounded by striking views. Couples can stay at the property for as many days as desired. The team has no fixed arrival times, and pairs can leave at their leisure. Every night they stay, newlyweds can enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast alongside staying guests. The 16th-century venue situated on a working organic farm where food is sourced directly from the fields and foraged from the hedgerows. There are stunning courtyards and gardens with 150 acres to explore, perfect for photographic opportunities. The venue is made up of two barns. The Rustic Barn has a wagon wheel and wooden ladders suspended by steel beams, old potato box slats for walls and plenty of straw bales. While the Industrial Chic Barn has wooden beams, a corrugated ceiling and wonderful old olive buckets as lights suspended from the beams. Al fresco celebrations are held in the field or charming woodland.
