At Fig & Folk, we offer our guests a table that is dressed to impress, with an abundance of delicious, fresh seasonal and locally sourced produce, that’s a real feast for the eyes. Some couples start their big day with a gorgeous brunch spread that’s perfect to share with your bridesmaids in the morning, while others choose fabulous sharing starters for after the ceremony or even as their main course. Of course, Fig & Folk tables are also perfect evening options, where guests can take a break from the dancefloor to fill up a place with all their favourite nibbles. What should couples expect when booking your services? The whole idea of a grazing table is for guests to get involved, grab their favourite delicacies and enjoy every minute of the experience. At Fig & Folk, we work with our clients to offer a bespoke service, so each wedding is as individual as you are. We also like to sit down with our clients and talk about what their theme is, so that their grazing table matches their overall style. How long before the wedding should brides and grooms book? We normally say to avoid disappointment you should book at least six months in advance to secure your preferred date. Tell us your dream menu. For the starter, I would have a seafood platter and cake for dessert. As a mini graze dessert platter, I would put together carrot cake, summer fruit pavlova, apple and fig, salted caramel cake and indulgent chocolate macaroons. Do you have any top tips for our readers? Get organised, but also make sure to have fun along the way. This is your big day, so enjoy every second of it. Do your research, take notes, compare and set yourself a realistic budget, so you can start planning ahead of time and know exactly how much you have to spend on your venue, catering etc. Prioritising your wishlist is also super important when setting your budget. Most importantly, remember to stay calm and don’t stress! Visit www.figandfolk.com @figandfolkgraze @figandfolkgraze
