We were overwhelmed with joy and laughter. Our jaws were aching from smiling and we felt so loved. We were treated like royalty all day by our loved ones and the staff at Coltsford Mill. We ran a speech sweepstake and a guess th e first dance game. Each guest gave a monetary donation and we managed to raise around £400 for The Royal Marsden and St Rap hael’s Hospice. A top tip for those who decide to plan their wedding da y on the same day as your relationship anniversary, don’t forget your card and chocolates. Ollie mentioned our anniversary in his speech a nd gave me a present and it’s safe to say that I forgot! My bridesmaids chose lavender maxi dresses with ivory shawls. I wore a sheath wedding dress called Molly by Maggie Sottero from Elizabeth James Bridal. I styled it with an elbow-length veil, a thin diamante belt and ivory shoes from Lace & Favour. I also had a white leather jacket which was hand-painted by Carole at Mimosa Bridal Couture, which was incredible. DJ2K was a fabulous DJ and they also pro vided our photo booth. Ollie opted for a grey suit from Hawes & Curtis with a lavender tie and pocket square. REAL WEDDINGS 51
