During the canapés, there were a range of lawn games out for guests to play. We could see a relay race version of croquet going on during our family photographs. I had hoped to find pre-loved bridesmaids’ dresses but unfortunately couldn’t find anything, so we ordered new ones. The girls wore different shades of pastel blue in a wrap style from JJ’s House. They all looked stunning! We felt surprisingly chilled on the morning of the wedding. We were already married, so the legal bit was done, and we were just there to celebrate. I try to avoid fast fashion, so it was important to me to be as sustainable as possible. I was unable to find any boutiques that offered dresses to rent but found the website Stillwhite, which allows brides to sell their gowns after the big day. I chose 6758 by Stella York. I knew I wanted a fabulous back and heard of Naomi Skull Sews through a friend. Naomi added all the lace appliqué and panels to give the design a personal twist. We absolutely love dancing. At other weddings, we’re the first on the dancefloor and the last to leave. Having a band who had an infectious energy was very important to us, and we spent a long time trying to find the perfect entertainment. We’re so glad that Sunny Roots were available!
