Located in the heart of the venue, the room is ideal for a lavish affair with moving partitions to divide the space if needed. The Amphitheatre in the grounds can also be used. Ideal for a private ceremony, it can hold 240 loved ones and the bride- to-be can make a grand entrance on the hotel’s helicopter pad. As part of the refurbishment, The Orangery was given a new lease of life with modern décor and furniture. It leads to the terrace and gardens and is capable of holding 180 friends and family. The smallest space available is The Lloyds Room (50). Ideal for an intimate service or wedding breakfast, it has a traditional décor with wood panelling and an original fireplace. WE LOVE... The property dates back to 1820 and is the ancestral residence of the Lovelace family and home to a long line of notable thinkers. Horsley Towers is rich with character and charm, with plenty of places to explore including the historic tower, terrace wrapping around the Victorian mansion house, croquet lawn and lake. There are also 28 newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms for guests to choose from and three function spaces available for ceremonies. CELEBRATE IN STYLE The Great Hall is a traditional English banqueting hall with space for 120 guests for the ceremony, 110 for a sit-down meal and 200 for an evening celebration. Sopwith opens up on to the front of the house and croquet lawn and is ideal for a barbecue or hog roast. This bright and spacious area can accommodate 120 loved ones for the vows and meal and 200 for the reception. Full of natural light, 1820 has an original 18 th -century fireplace and can seat 50 friends and family throughout the day and 120 for the party. WE LOVE...
