Your Surrey Wedding - Feb/Mar 2020 (Issue 81)

I wore a dress by Mori Lee called Kinley from Pure Couture Bridal Boutique. It was a classic design, with all-over lace, a sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves and buttons on the back. I added a train-length veil, pearl earrings, a bracelet and a necklace that I borrowed from my mum. Nathan opted for a slim-fit grey suit with tails from Stephen Bishop. He completed the look with an ivory tie and buttonhole. My four bridesmaids chose blush pink dresses with gorgeous detailing on the shoulders. On the morning of the wedding, I felt very nervous, but Nathan was incredibly calm. We both really excited and couldn’t wait to become husband and wife. The speeches were lovely, and I cried at every one, especially Nathan’s. There was a funny story from Nathan’s stag party that involved a scooter, so at one point Nathan and his friend, Dean, rode into the reception on a scooter. His brother, Dan, didn’t know about it but finished off his speech by riding it out of the room. To keep our loved ones entertained, we had garden games during the day and a DJ in the evening. We kept it simple, so everyone had a chance to mingle and relax. REAL WEDDINGS 43 
