Your Surrey Wedding - Dec/Jan 2019 (Issue 80)

We looked at lots of venues, but Brooklands Museum always stood out. We met with Jo and felt at ease right away. After our first visit, we walked away and agreed we’d found the perfect venue. We were put in touch with local suppliers that regularly work with the venue, and we decided to book a few for our wedding. I’m Portuguese, so we decided to give our guests miniature bottles full of Port as favours. We added personalised labels, navy ribbons and used them as our place names. Our tables were named after pubs that we used to do quizzes at. For our flowers, we chose cream Enamel Jugs filled with yellow roses, gerberas, silk hydrangeas, eucalyptus leaves and lavender from Adele Kemp. We purchase a trio of cakes from Iced Innovations. They were sponge and covered in iced buttercream and decorated with fresh flowers. Greg Leniston from Rolls Royce Phantom 11 Continental provided our transport. We met him at the Brooklands Museum wedding fair and loved how amazing his cars were. 62
