To tie in with our theme, we decorated the venue with beautiful roses. Our cake was a simple yet elegant blush pink design. It was made up of Victoria sponge, lemon, chocolate and salted caramel. For our centrepieces, we chose tall martini glasses and fish bows full of crystal beads and roses. We decorated the venue with an ivory runner, drapery walls and hurricane vases. We also had a starlit backdrop behind the top table for our wedding breakfast. We gave our guests cameras, scratch cards and bubbles as favours. We also had flip flops in the bathroom for our friends and family to use if their feet became sore. Kyle and I fell in love with Brooklands Hotel during a wedding fair. The staff were so friendly, and we adored the reception area and unbelievable honeymoon suite. The venue organised our catering and stationery and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. 56
