85 REGIONAL SHOOT FUN AT THE FAIR Take inspiration from this stunning shoot at St Lawrence’s Church Images courtesy of Neli Prahova Photography W hen this shoot landed in our inbox here at Your Surrey Wedding , we knew that our lovely readers would adore it! Redhill-based dressmaker Felicity Westmacott said: “When we first visited the venue, we knew straight away it was the perfect setting for our styled shoot. The building is more than 1,000 years old and has grand arches, tall glass windows and stone textured walls.” Natalie Fairbairn from Top Hats & Tiaras helped organise the shoot. “Together we decided on a country fete theme. We incorporated cornflower blue, poppy red and wheat yellow to contrast with the rose golds and greys we’ve seen so much of in recent years,” explains Felicity. “Redhill Confetti made eco-friendly pompoms, bunting, wicker hearts and confetti presented in ribbon-trimmed baskets to match our colour scheme. Muscari Whites Florist provided stunning jam jar arrangements, bouquets, buttonholes, flower hoops and haircombs.” Jess Harrington Design created the place names, invitations and quirky bottle openers and the Tiger Lily Bus Company supplied a vintage milk-float and sweetcart. For the cake, the team worked with Let it Be Cake. “It was quite the showstopper,” adds Felicity. “They decorated it with popcorn, cupcakes, candy floss and chocolate lettering. The tableware was from Abacus Catering Hire. We used white linen tablecloths that were brightened with a yellow gingham runner and vintage crochet doilies.” The gorgeous dress was designed by Felicity. “I opted for an ivory silk georgette with lace sewn into the skirt,” she shares. “The bodice had a V-neckline and sleeves that could be removed. This was complemented by a bespoke hat from Beverley Edmondson Millinery. For the suit, our model, Aaron, wore a classic three-piece ensemble with a floral tie and braces from Elegans Menswear.” Ann-Marie Lawson from Lawson Makeup was keen to get involved. “She ensured everyone looked their best,” shares Felicity. “She captured the English-rose look for Evie and made sure Aaron was picture perfect.” The images were captured by Neli Prahova Photography. “She worked harder than anyone,” recalls Felicity. “Her fine art style worked well with our traditional theme, and we couldn’t have been happier with the finished result.”
