Your Surrey Wedding - Jun/Jul 2019 (Issue 77)

Prior to the ceremony, I felt emotional, and Dan was very nervous. Once we saw each other, all of the anxiety disappeared, and we were able to enjoy the day. For our big-day blooms, we opted for loose flowers with lots of greenery. We met Carrie from The Topiary Tree by Carrie Macey, and she was amazing. She didn’t disappoint and went above and beyond our expectations. We had two large glass pickling jars at the end of the alter that we moved into the barn for the wedding breakfast. I also adored my bouquet and decided to have it preserved. We looked at a few venues but nothing stood out quite as much as Millbridge Court. The property is stunning, and we liked having the service and reception in one place. Lynsey from Two Little Birds created our gorgeous table plan. It was engraved and hung from a copper stand. We loved it, and she was a pleasure to work with. Dan and I didn’t have a set theme or hue in mind. Once we had chosen the bridesmaids’ dresses, everything seemed to fall into place, and we knew that we wanted a blush colour scheme. I found Amanda Michelle Design & Stationery through Not On The High Street. We ended up ordering all of our designs from her. Amanda created our place cards, name tags, table numbers, menus and a beautiful sign we used at the ceremony. Not only was her work outstanding but the packaging it arrived in was stunning too. 58
