Your Surrey Wedding - Jun/Jul 2019 (Issue 77)

To add a personal touch to the day, we had our names and wedding date embroidered into Lyle’s jacket. Lyle decided to wear a three-piece suit with a blue velvet bow tie and burgundy braces. He accessorised with Grenson shoes that I’d bought him as a birthday present and a pocket watch. The groomsmen wore two-piece blue suits from T.M. Lewin with coral ties and brown brogues. The bridesmaids chose knee-length green dresses. Each one carried a bouquet full of gypsophila, and my two flowergirls opted for white gowns from John Lewis. I wore a Suzanne Neville gown and accessorised with a long-sleeve top and a handmade silk crystal belt. My shoes were blue Jimmy Choo’s, and my earrings were designed by Lyle as a wedding present. We brewed our own beer with the help of Brick Brewery and designed a personalised label. Food was an important part of our day. Lyle is a butcher and didn’t want a traditional three-course meal. Instead, we placed aged beef fore ribs on each table and gave a few guests personalised carving aprons. REAL WEDDINGS 53 
