Your Surrey Wedding - Jun/Jul 2019 (Issue 77)

Lyle and I purchased a four-tier cake from Sarah Frankland Pastry Chef & Chocolatier. It was made up of carrot, chocolate ganache, ale, red velvet and salted caramel. We decorated it with macaroons and placed it on a tree trunk. We decided to hang flowers from the ceiling to create a rustic look. For our centrepieces, we chose candelabra that we decorated with green, white and pastel flowers. Seeing Lyle waiting for me at the end of the aisle was exciting and emotional. We were both so happy to finally be tying the knot. We decided to get married at Loseley Park in Guildford. We wanted a venue with lots of history that we could re-visit in years to come. The manor house also had a barn that was very traditional and relaxed, which we loved. Our table names were pictures of us when we were children. 52
