REAL WEDDINGS 45  bridal suite and I said to Leo we should try and get some rest as we were going to Bali the next day.” The couple invested in a picture frame and some props to create their own photo booth, and hired a live band to entertain guests. The Milestones played soul, Motown and funk, “They were just great and relaxed, playing old music that everyone knew,” says Laura. The food was one of the highlights for the couple, “We had a chorizo scotch egg which was incredible with pork crackling, the steak was delicious and the canapés... everyone commented on the canapés!” recalls Laura. After nearly knocking a candle on her wedding dress, another memorable moment was the speeches. “Charlie, Leo’s best man, gave a lovely speech and he was such a big part of our day,” shares Laura. “I feel like I married a tiny bit of him for life too on that day! Denise Winter, our photographer, also made our video so our whole day was captured, and she got the best photos. There were a few ‘formal’ ones which the family wanted but a lot were really cheeky and reflected us as a couple. I can’t recommend Denise enough, she was fabulous.”
