Considering I didn’t sleep well the night prior, due to a mixture of nerves and excitement, I had a lot of energy and couldn’t stop smiling all day. It was the most magical day. I felt overjoyed to be marrying the love of my life. Hugo adds, “I felt very much in love with my beautiful new wife. I was so happy to be surrounded by our friends and family. It was a fantastic day.” What really sold us about the venue was the private Hooke Heath Suite for the reception and the spacious gardens for photos. Sam from House of Flowers really went above and beyond to make the day look stunning. The flower arrangements were beautiful and took our vision to whole new level. She’s so friendly and accommodating and was very reasonable for what she does. During the ceremony the mother-of-the-bride got up to do her reading, which she’d given to the coordinator who accidently thought it was a wedding card and popped it in the card box. There was this pause, while some people rushed about looking for it, it was a funny moment and it didn’t matter because it actually relaxed Hugo and myself for when we came to do our own vows. The ceremony was so beautiful, it felt like a fairytale! Our vows to each other were said in Spanish and English which felt so special – it was an emotional moment. 35 REAL WEDDINGS
