and I knew that a lower-cut or a strapless style would only result in me pulling it about all day, feeling self- conscious.” Finally, the beautiful bride added a pretty diamante belt to complete the look along with a dramatic veil. Dan’s suit was blue with pink lining, which he wore with a gold waistcoat. He accessorised with tan leather shoes for the ceremony and changed into a bright gold pair for the evening do. The best man wore the same style suit as Dan, without the gold waistcoat, meanwhile both fathers had ties to match the man-of-the-moment and his best man. The bridesmaids were all dressed in one-shoulder floor-length royal blue chiffon gowns, and each wore their hair in messy, curly buns to one side. All the ladies, including the bride, accessorised with matching pearl-drop earrings. CELEBRATE IN STYLE “We didn’t want typical wedding music,” Fay shares. “So, we gave our DJ some ideas of what we had in mind, and he absolutely nailed it!” The floor-filling set list mainly included drum and bass, garage and some big party tunes from Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas. MEMORABLE MOMENTS “We felt absolutely on top of the world all day,” Fay remembers. “My face hurt from smiling so much! We both said we couldn’t have asked for a better day, it was flawless. “Having our two Bernese Mountain Dogs with us on the day was amazing. The eldest, Raphael, carried the ring box down the aisle and handed it over to the groom. The other, Sully, was only a few months old but he absolutely loved all the attention! Fay was thrilled with the work of her wedding dream team. She says, “Our photographer was amazing; his shots are nothing short of perfection and we felt so at ease having them taken. Samantha, who did our hair and make-up was impeccable too; she was so calm throughout the whole morning, even when timings didn’t quite go to plan. We had so much fun getting ready. “Krystyna from The Talbot was nothing short of fantastic! Throughout the planning process she answered queries quickly and nothing was too much effort. She’d thought of most things before we even asked anyway! On the day, she was cool and calm making sure everything went to plan and that we had the most perfect day.” REAL WEDDINGS 35
