The gents, including Gav’s older son Jack, were dressed in black tie two pieces, while the three page boys wore black tie too with waistcoats, black shorts, bow ties and Vans trainers. We had the most amazing day and just wanted to soak up every second. Being together with our family and friends was priceless after the Covid restrictions of the previous 18 months. All of the speeches were incredible from the father-of-the-bride making me get up and do my Jim Carey Grinch impression, to the mother-of-the-bride apologising for running over my foot with the car when I was younger, and the groom’s public love bomb of how he feels about me. The team at Cissbury were incredible. We had to postpone our first date due to Covid and they kept us informed at all times, were incredibly understanding and even sent us a voice note on our original date to say how excited they were for our wedding. On the day itself they took control of everything making it seamless and enjoyable. I can’t shout about them enough! Magician Andrew Kelly entertained guests during the drinks reception, and we then had a photo booth with flower wall later on. At the end of the meal The Singing Waiters surprised our guests and did a 30-minute set, which was the most amazing part of our day. It was hilariously funny and created such a joyous happy vibe. The adult bridesmaids wore taupe V-neck gowns, while the younger ones wore sparkly gold dresses. 40
