Set against a glorious backdrop, this is a garden made for romance, a place where creativity has flourished and quirkiness is celebrated. The trail allows you to wander between flickering flames and majestic trees, as lights dance from one amazing space to another. Within this fiery interpretation of stars and sphere, illuminated flora and fantasy, there are also moments of reflection set to an intriguing soundscape. Just like the method used in making prosecco, the secondary fermentation that occurs under pressure creates carbon dioxide and gives the wine its natural fizz. By fermenting in a tank rather than a bottle, the wine can be released earlier, so it’s bursting with fruit-driven flavours. The majority of other homegrown bubbly uses the champagne method of doing the secondary fermentation in the bottle, so House Coren wanted to release a Charmat-method wine as it believes the style showcases the bright, fruity freshness found in English grapes and offers a more affordable alternative to the traditional method sparkling wines already out there. William Coren, managing director of House Coren says, “Boco is all about living life to the full and raising a toast to adventure. We’re delighted to debut our very first wine, which will be one of the many in our future portfolio.” William runs the vineyard in West Sussex with his family having planted 30,000 vines in May 2020.
