I wanted tunes that everyone would know, and it worked as the dancefloor was never empty even for a second! Lead singer Laura performed with me on the cruise ships, so I knew she’d be fantastic. We also had a number of my friends prepare their own songs to sing while the band took a break – it’s definitely a plus having so many loved ones who love to perform! The best part of the day was seeing everyone together, especially after a year of lockdowns, social distancing and face masks. Seeing everyone smiling, sharing the dancefloor and having a good time was definitely a highlight. Of course, marrying the love of our lives was also a huge moment, and after replanning, it definitely makes you realise what the day is all about. 42
