THE “I DOS” The Dairy Barn offers a sweeping 22-metre aisle, exposed wooden beams and benches made of sweet chestnut. Holding up to 120 guests, it can also be used post-ceremony for a drinks reception or an entertainment area for the children. The Secret Garden is a hidden gem that features a 50-foot aisle set amidst peaceful scenery and seats up to 100. Taking inspiration from the Dutch term gezellig, it’s a celebration of togetherness, comfort and enjoyment. THE CELEBRATIONS The Threshing Barn can seat 120 diners and can accommodate 200 for the evening bash. This 200-year-old barn radiates rustic charm with authentic wooden beams and wrought iron chandeliers. There’s plenty of space for dancing and entertainment and the vast windows that span both sides of the building allow you to make the most of the surrounding gardens and stunning sunsets. THERE’S MORE! The Milking Parlour can be used as bride-tribe HQ or for groom preparations and you’re welcome to stay the night should you wish. So, that’s the start of the day taken care of, now for the end. Designed by the farmer, it was built by his son ready for his own wedding. This huge structure houses a stage, unstocked bar area and a grand central fireplace. It also has rustic tables and benches included in the cost of hire. The barn sits at the centre of an organic farm and is surrounded by views of the rolling Sussex countryside including Ashdown Forest, Weir Wood Reservoir and the historical town of East Grinstead. THE “I DOS” The licensed barn has a capacity of 150 for the ceremony. Plus, there’s a new bandstand in the main field (also constructed by the farmer’s very talented son). It has power for a PA and is available for your al fresco vows. THE CELEBRATIONS Receptions can be hosted on the farm, in the event field, inside the marquee, in the main barn and even in the after hours Rave Room for the real party animals.
