Before the day, guests submitted their DJ name and a set of three songs. It was a huge hit and the dancefloor was never empty. Just do you! Make sure you’re choosing every element because you love it, not just because it’s what a wedding should have. The bridesmaids were dressed in gorgeous boho dr esses. I loved them the moment I saw them, but they’d been discontinued. By some massive stoke of luck, we managed to get hold of two just in time. Sally Gallis, our wedding planner was exceptional. She’s also the loveliest lady. Nick and I started planning our wedding when our daughter was only two months old and I’d struggled to manage it alongside the challenges of motherhood. I just don’t think we could have pulled it off in six months if it hadn’t been for Sally. Nick wore a beautiful bespoke suit by Gresham Blake in Brighton. The colour worked perfectly for the setting and the waistcoat allowed him to remove his jacket and still look the part. I bought him a gold Labrador pin as a surprise nod to our dog Maggie. The groomsmen all wore their own suits, but we provided the ties and pocket chiefs, made from Liberty fabric, which suited our meadow vibe. 42
