Your Sussex Wedding - April/May 2021 (Issue 90)
Our centrepieces were mirror plates w ith floral arrangements on top, surrounded by votive candles. M y vision featured a white palette with touches of green, inc orporating roses and hydrangeas with olive foliage. Our wedding cake had three tie rs – one sponge, one chocolate a nd one lemon. We wanted it simply dec orated with white icing and som e fresh flowers to finish. Our table plan was a simple design in pale grey with white font, backed on a mirror from ou r living room. Nathan designed our stationery and w e got it printed professionally. Know what you want and don’t get suc ked into what others might want or expect. On the day, tak e time to pause and absorb it all. Your wedding day will go by in a flash. We hired two cars. One took myself and my father to the venue, and the other was for the bridesmaids and mother-of-the-bride. In lieu of favours we made a donation to a charity and gave our guests individual biscuits with our wedding logo on them. 32
