Your Sussex Wedding - December 2020/Janaury 2021 (Issue 88)
In the evening we had a barbecue followed by Pinks Vintage Ice Cream for a little extra treat. We also decorated the venue with many other touches including: a ladder with photos, candles and love letters on it; giant white love letters; white draping with fairylights on the walls and ceiling; and ivory bird cages with tea lights inside. I wore Destin by Anna Sorrano, a stylish satin A-line with beautiful embroidered floral detailing and scattered beading, which complemented my figure. I accessorised with a bespoke rose gold and rhinestone head piece. The table plan was on ivory and blush card, backed with rose gold glitter and attached to a mirror. The place names were designed on theme-fitting ivory card with blush font, as were the table numbers. We dined on a starter of chicken liver parfait, followed by main course of roast chicken breast marinated in lemon thyme, and finished with a dessert of dark chocolate mousse with a Bailey’s panna cotta. Rebecca wore a comfortable and light dress from Ocean Bridal. It had the most intricate silk detailing and finished with a beautifully understated train. She paired this with a handmade head piece that was coincidentally similar to mine. REAL WEDDINGS 47
