The pair knew from their very first date that they had something special and thoughts of marriage where already in their minds. So, in February 2018 with Rebecca’s mother’s engagement ring tucked safely away, Eloise began to put her meticulously planned proposal into action. She’d chosen a secluded spot nestled in the woods, where some strategically placed rainbow-coloured arrows pointed the way to a lone tent sitting beneath a tree covered in hanging wooden hearts. Furnished with blankets, cushions and fairylights, complete with a cheese and champagne hamper, this special scene was set. When she arrived Rebecca found a little box inside, which contained a note entitled: “why I love you.” The last page contained a very important question, and as she looked up there was Eloise holding something extra shiny.
