Your Sussex Wedding - June/July 2020 (Issue 85)
I wore a dress by Enzoani. It was the last of seven that I tried on and was exactly what I wanted. My sister summed it up perfectly when she said “you look like you as a bride.” I felt incredible all day and night. James was in charge of the transport as he is a car lover. We decided on two classic cars to bring me and my bridesmaids to the venue. They looked stunning and the journey was perfect. To soften the sparkles and gold, we had extra foliage added to the chandelier, and cherry blossom tress were placed behind the altar to frame us as we said our vows. Everyone said I was the calmest bride. I couldn’t wait to see James and we were both so excited to see everything come together. We’d been venue hunting for a couple of months, without finding the one, and I was close to giving up. Then we found Cissbury Barns and it ticked every box. James designed a tailored navy suit with grey waistcoat from Gresham Blake. Although the best man, his brother, wore the same suit, they personalised them by having different linings. 52
