Your Sussex Wedding - June/July 2020 (Issue 85)
For me, walking down the aisle with Tom waiting at the bottom, while one of my favourite songs played ( Came Here for Love by Ella Eyre) was one of the most amazing feelings, and a moment I’ll never forget. We opted for six tiers of cupcakes, with one giant one for the top, as we wanted something different from the traditional wedding cake. The venue was adorned with white drapes. We also had a sweet cart, balloon wall, doughnut wall, photo booth, LOVE letters, a flip flop box and a toiletry box for the ladies. Our favours were individual scratch cards packaged in personalised cream envelopes, labelled Mr & Mrs Charlwood, and date stamped. Classic, yet bold, our centrepieces were large spheres of white roses in keeping with our neutral colour scheme. We chose classic white roses for our bouquets and buttonholes. We also had rose petals scattered down the aisle. REAL WEDDINGS 41
