Your Sussex Wedding - April/May 2020 (Issue 84)
SLEEK AND SOPHISTICATED Shot at Leonardslee Gardens’ Interlude Restaurant, this ultra-modern shoot set our pulses racing Images courtesy of Ioana Porav Weddings “I wanted to plan and design something that was out of the box, so I created a modern shoot using a palette of emerald green and mustard,” says the project's coordinator Tania Russell of Hire Societies. Along with a team of talented suppliers, she set out to bring some flare to her design and demonstrate to couples that you don’t need to follow tradition to have the wedding of your dreams. We fell in love with the bridal looks these wedding aficionados have put together. Indeed, why not change up your look for the evening and slip into something slinkier for the dancefloor? Plus, as Tania says: “Why can’t the groom have a change of attire too?” If you’re going to work a new look from ceremony to celebrations, it follows that the furniture should do the same! The scene was set for the “I dos” with chairs at the back and some ultra-comfy sofas for the VIPs at the front. These were then moved to the evening reception, for guests to sit in comfort and enjoy watching the newlyweds take a spin for their first dance. The evening set up also saw the perfect marriage of a bubble bar and a gin bar, because who doesn’t love bubbles and gin? 63 REGIONAL SHOOT
