90 EMMA TINDLEY OF EMMA TINDLEY COUTURE East Grinstead, RH19 1HA emmatindley.co.uk The customer service is exceptional at Emma’s boutique, and she’s always on hand to offer advice on style choices and accessories. You’ll have exclusive use of the boutique for your appointment and will find a wide range of dresses, from fitted corseted styles to soft and floaty boho looks. What’s more, all of the dresses can be customised to suit your individual style. What top tip would you give to brides when dress shopping? Be open-minded. Pinterest is a wonderful thing, but don’t confine yourself to one style, as it might not be the one to suit you best. What’s your trend of the moment? Soft and floaty skirts are in – silk chiffon or tulle with or without a split but always with a train. What’s your favourite dress in the boutique? Eleanor is always our winning dress. It has a lace illusion back, silk chiffon skirt and plunging neckline. Perfect for a church or beach wedding. If you could dress any celebrity, who would it be and what dress would you pull first? I’d love to dress Jess Glynn. She has such a classic English rose look, with her red pre-Raphaelite hair. I’d pull a soft fitted silk crepe bias cut dress with a low back, adding a delicate hair vine for sparkle. Initially, you’ll sit down for a chat about your venue and expectations of the style you’re looking for before going on to try different shapes and styles to see what suits your body and personality. What top tip would you give to brides when dress shopping? Don’t bring too many people! I’d advise coming on your own initially to narrow down a shortlist of dresses before bringing one or two key people to help you with your final decision. What’s your trend of the moment? Straps are featuring heavily in brides’ favourite styles as they make the dress more secure. Fit ‘n’ flare is always a popular choice, and full skirts are still very much in demand. What’s your favourite dress in the boutique? Just for being a fantastic shape with amazing beading, it has to be Ankara by Jessica Grace. At under £1,000 it’s a very reasonable price for such quality. If you could dress any celebrity, who would it be and what dress would you pull first? I’d like to see interior designer Kelly Hoppen in Verona . She’s an independent mature lady with a fabulous figure, and this dress would really show it off.
