Your Sussex Wedding - October/November 2019 (Issue 81)
MEET MAGICIAN KEVIN MORTON What can you bring to a wedding day? I’ll bring that extra-special finishing touch to a couple’s most magical of days! I can break the ice at the reception drinks, making people more relaxed before they eat and giving them something to talk about over the wedding breakfast, or kick-start the party as the evening guests arrive. I’ll amaze and entertain all ages and leave everyone with fantastic long-lasting memories of an awesome wedding! What inspired you to become a magician? It was a mixture of growing up watching Paul Daniels on the TV, my Dad showing me a coin trick and experiencing close-up magic while I was on holiday in Blackpool. What’s your proudest achievement? Becoming a member of the Magic Circle in 2018. It’s been an ambition of mine for many years. Take advantage of this and hire a choir to perform a rip- roaring number flash-mob style to liven up the atmosphere when loved ones least expect it. ❤ Starstruck Even the most blasé of us are a little in awe of celebrities! So imagine having a star turn up to your celebrations. Some famous faces can be booked for personal appearances, but if Madonna’s busy, there are also a whole host of look-a-likes available. ❤ Come dancing If you’re nervous about your two left feet getting in the way of a memorable first dance, why not go all out with some dancing lessons and delight guests with a full-blown Strictly-esque dance routine with wow factor. ❤ Speechless Speeches: A much-loved and loathed wedding tradition. We’ve all sat through lengthy and boring recitations from the top table – it’s no fun, people! Plus, public speaking isn’t for everyone, so take off the heat by creating a video to leave your guests in tears or stitches. 76
