They’d been together for five years when Joshua popped the question on 12 th September, 2015, a date significant to Paige as it’s also her nan’s birthday. The pair were enjoying a romantic trip on the River Ouse in Yorkshire when the groom-to-be took his sweetheart by surprise. The couple selected The PowderMills Hotel as the location for their big day. Paige told us, “Everything about the hotel made us want to get married there – the scenery, the fact that we could get married on a lake and the room availability, meaning the majority of our friends and family could stay the night.” The main attraction, though, was that dogs are welcome, so the couple’s beloved pet could be part of their special day.
