The manor as you see it today boasts its original Georgian façade and portico, making an elegant entrance and backdrop for your perfect day. Original features mix with a modern twist, such as the refurbished, fully licensed bars in the barn, which dates back to 1773. THROUGH THE KEYHOLE Set inside the manor house is the Oak Room. Steeped in history it boasts Jacobean oak paneling and is perfect for intimate ceremonies. Also, inside the house the elegant Chichester Room is lit by French chandeliers and is finished by mink and white damask wallpaper. The Pavilion Barn features exposed beams and a long sweeping aisle. You’ll find it situated amongst beautifully designed gardens. It’s available for your vows and celebrations complete with licensed bar and its own courtyard with a firepit. Also available for partying the night away is the Sussex Barn, which radiates warmth and delight with its original oak-beamed high ceilings and fairylight canopy. It features double-door glass alcoves on each side, making it a beautifully light and airy space. THE GREAT OUTDOORS The gorgeous wedding gardens, designed by Chelsea Flower Show Gold award winner, Juliet Sargeant, offer a spectacular outside ceremony space. While the planting is still in its infancy you can enjoy the beautiful white theme and soft arches of wisteria to walk through. The gardens can also be enjoyed from the vantage point of the Pavilion Barn’s covered terrace. THROUGH THE KEYHOLE Flint walls and 19 th -century beams characterise this contemporary-rustic venue. A Grade II listed structure; The Granary is the largest barn and a rare example of a Medieval-style Tithe Barn. Ideal for the wedding breakfast, it’s flexible and suits a variety of guest numbers. All ceremonies are held in the Cartshed, backed by beautiful lawns, it’s perfect for garden games and sunset viewing.
