Your Sussex Wedding - Apr/May 2019 (Issue 78)
The girls wore pewter grey shoes, although they were swiftly removed at the reception and replaced with hand-decorated white flip-flops! All the tables had an eclectic collection of after-dinner games, which everyone loved. It took months of collecting from eBay and charity shops. There were lawn games outside, including sack races, skittles and croquet, and the children loved these. I wore Fleur by Naomi Neoh. It originally had full-length sleeves, which I had altered to suit the August weather. From the word go, I knew I had to incorporate lace into the dress. So the illusion jacket was perfect, completing the floating A-line silhouette. I accessorised my dress with plain satin round heels with a hidden sixpence, a rainbow club lace elbow-length veil and Pandora Elegance earrings and necklace. The journey to the venue was magical. It all became real at that point – we were finally getting married. Getting out of the car in front of everyone was my happiest moment and my favourite photograph. REAL WEDDINGS 61
